ADOPTED 07/22/03

10/25/03 Apache (and family) visited us at our October Pets911 event.  Here are some new pics for you to enjoy!  A special thanks to Todd (Apache's Dad) for his generous donation of printing our newsletters.

7/27/03 - Apache was neutered and received his final booster and rabies shot.  He is recovering comfortably at home.

Apache went to a really great home to live with his new "sister" Sunshine.  As you can see from the pictures below, there will be lots of play time for both of them.  Enjoy the pics and read Apache's story below!  Apache will be neutered on 7/27/03 and receive his final booster shot.

6/13/03 - Apache, a "lethal white" Blue Merle, came to us from Apache Junction Shelter, thanks to the wonderful volunteers who recognized him as a Lethal White and contacted us.  He is barely 7 weeks old and as sweet as can be.  Apache does have a "crooked" tail which is either a deformity or was broken shortly after birth.  He is crate trained and is learning to walk on a leash.  Although one of his pupils is slightly smaller than the other, he sees just fine and has partial hearing.  He can hear, but may not always be able to know exactly where it's coming from...but he does figure that out rather quickly.  He loves all of the aussielads and Spirit as well (see picture above).  Apache has been vet checked and has had his first booster.  His Fecal was negative, he was de-wormed and had a dose of Revolution.

Apache will be going into foster care on 6/14/03.  He will spend time being house broken and just settling in.  He will be neutered prior to adoption at about 12 - 16 weeks old.  All applications will be considered, but Apache will go to the best suited home.  Please note that due to Apache's "special needs" we will only adopt to residents of Arizona.  A home (familiar with the Aussie breed or with special needs dogs) with a secured fenced yard and another friendly dog to play with is the ideal home environment for Apache.

7/10/03 - Some new pictures of Apache at his foster home.  He enjoys hanging out with his foster sister, Dixie.  Apache has received his second booster shot and will be neutered in the next few weeks.
