Blind and/or Deaf Dogs Support Group , held on January 18, 2004
We started off the new year with a new format for the group session. While we still concentrated on answering questions and offering support, we also focused on demonstrating the abilities of those considered disabled. Jigsaw (Kelly's non-special needs Aussie) did a demo on the agility course (he was so quick, I never got a single picture), followed by Hope (deaf/sight impaired) (she was a little distracted by the crowd, but did just fine), who will be graduating in beginners agility on Monday. To really roar the crowed, little 3 month old Magnus showed his "stuff" by going through the agility tunnel for a very receptive crowd. Here are some pics of those who attended and some of our other adoptees and fosters (including "just in" Winter who had no problem following Magnus around) who enjoyed checking out the agility equipment.
Everyone else, enjoying the day!
