Phoenix Country Day School

By special invitation from Eva Vichules (and her beautiful Blue Merle Aussie, Jinx), we were invited to participate in a class she was teaching at the Phoenix Country Day School on October 3, 2003.  We brought along some educational materials (designed especially for the children) about Merle-to-Merle breeding, as well as Toes (Sedona), Hope and Marco.  We had a great time, the children asked a lot of questions, and the dogs absolutely loved all the attention.  Here are some pictures taken during the class.  We are awaiting permission to post the pictures showing the children's faces, so please check back, as we are hoping to add them soon.  In the meantime, these pictures will show how much the class was enjoyed by all.  Lorraine did an excellent job of demonstrating training a blind and deaf dog by touch.  And Toes was a great sport for letting the kids "train" her...of course, her reward was getting all those great treats :-)
