AZ Pet Sitters
We have consistently been asked to recommend a Pet Sitter, but since we have never left our babies alone before, we had no information/suggestions to offer. But there comes a time when you must face the situation of needing a sitter for your babies, so I researched Arizona pet sitters and found one in particular that I was considering (Loving Hands Pet Care). I emailed several and received an immediate reply from Karen Scherer of Loving Hands Pet Care (no reply from the others). After a long conversation, we set up an appointment for her to come and meet the kids (who really make the final decision). Paws down, Karen won them over within seconds :-) As difficult as it was to leave them for the first time, Karen was very accommodating to my "motherly" needs, especially in the constant communication department! Upon arriving home, our kids were excited to see us, but did not appear to be lacking anything, especially attention. They actually had this look on their face as to say, "Oh, it's YOU...we were expecting Karen!" Karen came by the next day and it was quite obvious that they enjoyed her visit even though we were home with them. Karen is a wonderful person...and a dedicated, responsible animal lover...and pet sitter. We highly recommend her services...especially if you have Aussies or "special needs" pets!!!
If you would like more information about Karen Scherer and Loving Hands Pet Care, please click the pic below...and be sure to check out the card the AussieLads/Lass gave Karen to show their appreciation of being so well cared for...there's a link on the "About Us" page!
AZ Pet Cremation
At some time in our lives we've all experienced the great loss of our best friend. For us, it was Kandoo...and we still miss him very much. We were there with him when he crossed (and we'll always be grateful for that) but leaving the hospital that night without him was traumatic for us. We requested his ashes and could only hope that's what we would be getting. Having the opportunity to share Karen's loss meant a lot to me, but it also made me aware of a wonderful family who made it their "business" to offer a service that is invaluable to all pet lovers...a Cremation Service! This family is genuinely concerned and sympathetic to your loss, as they are great animal lovers themselves. I only wish they were in business when Kandoo passed.

If you read no other book in your lifetime, you MUST read this book! Although it is a "children's book", it will definitely be enjoyed by adults as well. Pete's story is about a blind and deaf (Lethal White) Australian Shepherd (although 9 years ago everyone thought Pete was a Dalmatian) from Chelsea's (Pete's canine sister) point of view. Please check out the site and order the book...what a great Christmas present...one that makes you laugh, brings tears to your eyes, and most importantly, teaches about believing in yourself when others don't. Thank you Linda, for teaching us all a little about life. Just click on the logo above...enjoy!
